Android Netflix Updates to V1.5, Now for Canadians too! Download via Canadian Android Market

This is great news. No more will Canadians have to search for the American Netflix APK files, to find out if they happen to be among the lucky few who could stream outside of the U.S.

Netflixs has updated to V1.5 and is now available via the Canadian Android Market for the first time. Along with this update, it also brings Honeycomb support for Android Tablets.

“Today, Netflix launched a new application in the Android Market to support Android 3.x (Honeycomb) tablets. This new app also extends Android support to Canada and Latin America for the first time. Now Netflix members in US, Canada and Latin America can enjoy Netflix on both their Android smartphones and tablets.”

The live announcement of Ice Cream Sandwich, and Galaxy Nexus, and now Netflix and it full support for Canadians. This is turning out to be one hell of a a week for Android Users!

Works great on my Nexus S and Xoom. Make sure you uninstall the old 1.4 version before you attempt to upgrade. That’s what I had to do.

Working good on my Asus TF!! I installed it via the Market and didn’t actually un-install the previous version I have. It seems to have updated perfectly. Worked right off the bat. Stock Android with no rooting.
