Telus Officially Releases Motorola Milestone

As reported earlier this week, Telus has officially released the Motorola Milestone effective today.

Pricing was as expected, as the device will cost $199.99 on a 3-year voice and data plan of $50 per month or greater. The Milestone is also available on 2 and 1-year terms for $499.99 and $549.99 respectively. The outright price is $599.99.

Telus Increases Bonus Minutes On Smartphone Plans

Effective this week, Telus has increased the number of bonus minutes customers receive when signing up on a Clear Choice Smartphone plan. At this time, the promotion has no clear expiration date.

Previously, the Clear Choice Smartphone plans offered customers 50 bonus minutes alongside the regular amount of minutes. Now the bonus minutes have been increased to 100 minutes. The promotion is available on 1, 2, and 3-year terms.

Sign Rogers HTC Dream/Magic Waiver To Avoid 911 ROM Update

A few weeks ago Rogers announced a software glitch in the HTC Dream and Magic that prevented users from making 911 calls. To remedy the situation, Rogers pushed out a ROM update.

No Activation Fee For Rogers Until February 16, 2010

Rogers Releases New Price Plans

Today, Rogers released new price plans. The changes are listed below.

New Rogers Plans

1.) $30, $35, $40, and $45 consumer plans received “unlimited mobile browsing” as an option add-on. (not compatible with Android)

2.) $30 consumer plan lost My5 Local (talk, text unlimited) and was replaced with My5 Local Talk Only.
