Bell has released some great wireless promotions during March 2010. Promos such as a free $35 activation fee, free 6PM early evenings, and more recently, six months of unlimited local calling. Unfortunately, these Bell promotions are mostly reserved for new customers.

With the release of the Google Nexus One in Canada, Google stated that Rogers and Fido customers were fully supported. This left many Telus and Bell customers wondering why they weren’t supported, even though Telus and Bell now use SIM cards.

In December 2009, Rogers extended their tethering promotion to expire on May 3, 2010. As long as users had a 1GB or higher data plan, they were able to use tethering as part of their 1GB data bucket.
