Telus To Launch Motorola Backflip At The End Of April
On Tuesday, Best Buy opened pre-orders for Motorola Backflip. Aside from the eventual 3-year agreement needed for promotional pricing, the only requirements was a $50 deposit. At the time, a release date was not known, but reports now point to a date for the upcoming Android device.
April 26, 2010 is the new rumor as the release date for the upcoming Motorola Backflip. The Backflip is one of three new social media Android devices coming from Motorola, along with the Dext and Quench from Bell and possibly Rogers, respectively.
Aside from running Android OS 1.5, the Backflip will feature a 3.1-inch display, 5-megapixel video camera, WiFi, and a HTML browser. Pricing is still unknown, but as we get closer to the release date, more information will be available.
