Sony Xperia Z3+ Found To Overheat Despite Revised Snapdragon 810

For those that don’t already know, Qualcomm has quitely updated the design of the Snapdragon 810 SoC (v2.1) after multiple claims that it produces an excessive amount of heat, causing the phone to also heat up and throttle performance. This said revision was supposed to fix some, if not all of these issues but that may not be the case on the Xperia Z3+.

A video has surfaced and it shows the Xperia Z3+ displaying a handful of warnings about the phone’s temperature being too high. Using the camera only makes this worse which leads me to believe that there may be some hope in both software and hardware of the final end-consumer model.
