Rogers Lowers Prices On Galaxy Spica, Xperia X10 & Quench

Looking to buy an Android device in Canada? If so, Rogers has discounted some of their Android devices.

The company has dropped the prices of the Samsung Spica, Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, and the Motorola Quench.

The Spica received a $70 price drop, the Xperia X10 dropped by $50, and the Quench dropped by $20. The discounted prices are available on a 3-year term only.

  • Sony Ericsson Xperia X10: $99.99 with a 3-year agreement (was $149.99)
  • Samsung Galaxy Spica: $9.99 on a 3-year agreement (was $79.99)

    Misleading headline and false information. Rogers hasn't reduced the price for these devices at all. It has only increased the incentive for long-term lock-in. If you walk into the store and try to buy any of these phones on a cash basis, no contract, you will find no reduction in price.

    Absolutely right midtoad. I hate when people buy into the telco's guise of the “price” of the phone being a particular amount, but with the huge asterisk of “*only with 3 year term”.
