Rogers Increases Outside of Canada Text Message Rates

Effective July 7, 2009, Rogers Wireless will be increasing the rate for sending text messages outside of Canada from $0.60 per message to $0.75 per message.

The current per rate text messaging when you are outside of Canada (using another cellular network) is $0.60 per message (incoming/outgoing). As of July 7, 2009, that rate will be $0.75 per message (incoming/outgoing).

If you have an international or USA text message plans, it matters not, because those text message packages only cover messages that you send from within Canada to outside of Canada destinations.
