OnePlus launched the successor to the OnePlus One in July but unfortunately, things did not really go as planned. Again.
Carl Pei, CEO of OnePlus made on the company’s community forums apologizing for the massive delays in getting an invite for the phone, let alone buying it. With more than 5 million potential customers on the reservation list, it’s about time someone said something about the “2016 flagship killer”.
In an attempt to ease some of the frustration caused by the delay, Carl Pei revealed that they will allow customers to purchase a device, without an invite, on an unspecified date later this month or early October.
The OnePlus 2 starts at $409 for the 16GB model and $479 for the 64GB.
