At the end of April, Best Buy opened preorders for the Motorola Quench, due to come from Rogers. The Quench is one of three new social media Android devices coming from Motorola, along with the Backflip and Dext from Telus and Bell respectively.
The Motorola Quench will be available at $49.99 with a 3-year agreement or outright at $424.99.
The Android-based device will launch with Android 1.5, with a possibility of receiving the Android 2.1 update, however the update is an unconfirmed rumor.
The device will include a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with pinch and zoom finger controls, built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, and a 5-megapixel camera with flash, auto-focus, and video.
The Quench can also support up to 32GB of storage with a microSD card and features a full HTML browser.
