Motorola Milestone 2 Is Made Official
Earlier this week, a leaked video was dropped on the web that featured the Motorola Milestone 2.
The new device is the successor to the original Motorola Milestone or the GSM version of the Motorola Droid 2. The video, which was pulled almost immediately, unofficially confirmed the existance of the Milestone 2.
Now, Motorola has made it official and has publicly announced the Motrola Milestone 2!
As detailed earlier this week, the Milestone 2 will feature Android 2.2 with MOTOBLUR out of the box, HD video recording and Adobe Flash 10.1. Some of the other specifications include a 1GHz OMAP CPU, 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 802.11N WiFi, and 8GB of built-in memory with support for up to 40GB. Motorola is also including an additional 8GB microSDHC card with the package.

Externally the Milestone 2 features a 3.7-inch display with 854×480 pixels and a horizontal slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
At this time, pricing and shipping dates for the Milestone 2 are unknown, but we have received reports that the Milestone 2 may be heading for Telus as the exclusive Canadian wireless carrier.
