MWC 2017 is just around the corner and like any self-respecting Android OEM, LG is going to be there to put on display some of its latest products, including the highly anticipated G6.
We’ve seen plenty of leaked imagery showcasing the device in various forms, so we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
Now LG has sent out the official invites for the MWC 2017 event to be held in the Sant Jordi Club in Barcelona, thus giving us another preliminary look at the upcoming gizmo.
The invite says that the LG G6 will bring about a “big screen that fits” which is probably code for the anticipated 5.7-inch Full Vision display with QHD+ resolution (1440 x 2880 pixels) and 2:1 aspect ratio (should be more elongated than regular screens). It remains to be seen if the display will slide easier into users’ hands or not.
We also anticipate the LG G6 to feature an impressive edge-to-edge display, like the invite also suggests.
While the LG G6 will be announced on February 26, the phone should become available for purchase on March 10 in South Korea. However, it could take more than a month for the new flagship to reach the markets across the pond (including US and Canada).
