Google Updates Gmail for Android

by Android Fan on April 9th, 2009

Looks like the Google team is at it again. They have updated the interface for Gmail for Android. I’m a huge Gmail fan as it is the superior webmail that beats any service out there.

Here is a video of Gmail for Android that was produced by the Google team (this is from last October by the way):

Now here is the new updated video that shows Gmail on the iPhone:

I know a lot of people are still using their internet supplier emails, such as @rogers.com, @shaw.ca, or @telus.net. The days of using these lame email services are over as Gmail’s IMAP support blows POP3 out of the water.

These rapid updates from Google and their development of Gmail I believe, is only the tip of the iceberg. Bigger and better things will soon come once more Android units are released, and eventually in Canada too.

Your really dumb... Gmail is not superior to every other service... just mostly better... It's POP3 fails.
  • Thanks for the kind words (btw, it's "you're" not "your")! POP3 is yesterday's news. IMAP is where Gmail shines and makes it rise above the other free email services. What do you use?
