Google To No Longer Improve Nexus One 3G Issues?

by Billy on April 22nd, 2010

Back in January, users were reporting 3G reception problems with their Nexus One devices. Google also acknowledged the issues at the time, but their attempts at locating a fix were met with little success.

Now, an Android support forum is suggesting that Google may have given up on attempting to resolve the Nexus One 3G problems.

The issues surrounding the 3G reception are that of reduced internet speeds and poor calling reception as compared to other devices on the same network and in the same area. So far these problems have been exclusive to US carriers.

We have not yet experienced or received any reports of problems plaguing Canadian Nexus One owners, but if Google is no longer going to provide support for the problem, some Canadian owners may be out of luck.

As a Nexus One owner, have you experienced 3G issues?
