Google Talk Widget

Stumbled across something cool over the the weekend. It seems a developer by the name of Ft4gg0r has released a pretty solid Google Talk Widget.

I picked it up and tried it myself over the weekend and it seems pretty well built.

As you can see, it fully supports ICS and the Galaxy Nexus and runs very light on system resources. The ‘Google Talk Widget’ also comes with some customizations. It allows you to choose which contacts will appear on the widget to help filter out those not so often spoken to people, as well as background and text colors.

If you are a Google Talk junkie, perhaps this Google Talk Widget will fit right in there with your style.

You can download this widget for free for the Android Market found here.

How did you get Google Talk to work with your Canadian number?

I think you may be confusing Google Talk with Google Voice. Google Talk is the text chat based app that’s included on every Android. No number is required.
