Google Stops Selling The Nexus One
This week, Google has officially stopped selling the Nexus One directly from their web store.
This should not be a surprise to many, as Google indicated that when it receives its last shipment and exhausts their inventory, they would no longer sell the device directly to end-users.
Visiting the Google Nexus One phone page gives visitors the following notice:
Sorry, folks…
The Nexus One is no longer available for purchase directly from Google. For more information on how to purchase the Nexus One, check out our help center.
In the USA, customers can still purchase the Nexus One through T-Mobile (on contract).
In Canada however, since we do not have a carrier who officially sells the Nexus One, Canadians will be unable to purchase the device. Previously, Canadians only had the Google Nexus One web store for purchases.
