Flash Spotted Running On Google Android Tablet
Among the masses at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco this week, one savvy blogger spotted a Tablet PC running Google’s Android operating system. The Android tablet was being showcased at Adobe’s expo booth, among other Android-based devices such as the Nexus One.
The Android-based tablet computer was in a prototype form, enclosed in a plastic casing, and seen running Adobe’s Flash. According to reports, Flash, and Adobe’s Air, were running flawlessly on the tablet device.
While details are scarce regarding any kind of retail release information or pricing details, the report indicates that Adobe is expecting to release numerous Android-based tablets by the end of 2010. This supports various rumors that have been floating around, the closest of which comes from Toshiba indicating that the company has “slates” running Android OS coming later in 2010.
