Best Buy has opened up pre-orders for the Motorola Backflip, the latest Android-based device coming from Telus. The Backflip is one of three new social media Android devices coming from Motorola, along with the Dext and Quench from Bell and possibly Rogers, respectively.

For those looking to secure themselves the Backflip, Best Buy requires prospective customers to put down a $50 in-store deposit, which is pretty standard procedure for Best Buy phone preorders. The deposit will eventually go towards the purchase of the device and Best Buy will notify buyers when the Backflip arrives.
