It's now being advertised on the Telus.com site. No date; the message simply states coming soon. I would imagine this means that it's getting closer.

Anyone remember how long the iPhone was advertised as coming soon on Telus' site?

It looks like an AT&T version of Nexus One (which would be compatible with the Rogers, Telus, and Bell 3G networks) is on the horizon:

http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/29/nexus-one-fo...

If the Milestone launches with Android 2.0, I'm going to take that as a sign that the only reliable way to stay current is to buy your phone directly from Google.

That's what I figured, but there is talk about an AT&T version of the Nexus One coming soon and from what I understand, that will run on Rogers. That is where my Android salvation lies (I hope) and I can finally free my self from Apple.

In order to use the Nexus One in Canada you will have to go with Wind Mobille. No other carrier can support the data bands used.

While I am tempted, I think I am going to wait until the Nexus One is available. I would be leaving the iPhone (and not a moment to soon) but would want to go to the most powerful and polished Android interface possible. From what I hear, that is the Nexus One.

But, it is nice to see Canada finally getting some worth while Android Phones.
