Bell to Release Motorola XT860 4G August 9th
Super-super-super-superphone! Who’s ready for the 4th Bell “Superphone” to arrive? We’ve already seen the Samsung Galaxy S II, Motorola ATRIX and the HTC Sensation launch. Bell stated a few weeks back that the Motorola XT860 4G will be available sometime “this Summer”, today we bring you great news for those wanting this Android beast. Thanks to one of our tipsters we’ve been informed that this will officially be available on Tuesday, August 9th. No word yet on price points but this will probably follow the trend of the others and come in around $549.95 – $599.95 no term.
Bell states that their “Superphone” must have a dual-core processor, a minimum 4-inch high-res display and is capable of speeds of up to at least 14.4 Mbps. The specs of the XT860 4G meet all these requirements and comes with a 4.0-inch qHD touchscreen display, a dual-core 1GHz processor and reaches peak download speeds of 14.4 Mbps. In addition, this comes with Android OS 2.3, 8-megapixel camera that records 1080p HD videos, Wi-Fi and also has a full 5-row slide out QWERTY keyboard.
