I really want an android phone, and am stuck with bell for the next few years, should i pick this up or wait for something better along the lines of a evo 4g or a droid x to roll around to this side of the world, what do you guys think?

as per andrewM56, i also want to buy an android but the evo 4g and droid x look way better! i'm going to bide my time – i have a mac and refuse to buy an iPhone because of mr jobs's refusal to support flash – let's face it, there are millions of sites with flash, so how can he claim a 'full web experience'? the evo 4g also looks good for the skype video – the era of dick tracy watches has arrived!

If I was you I would wait for something else as the Legend only runs a 600MHz Qualcomm processor.

There’s a lot of upcoming phones that will run on a snapdragon at 1 GHz with android 2.1 or 2.2 so just wait a little bit cause this phone is released now but isn’t even at the best the market can offer at the time.

Telus will likely get the Desire (HTC version of the Nexus One, I know that HTC actualy makes the nexus one but the desire isn’t branded as a google phone) but Bell will likely get the Samsung Galaxy S as they always been close with samsung. This phone will be awesome with a 4” screen and a front facing camera for video calling. Keep in mind that all the big carriers in canada have agreed to make video calling available between their customer wich meens that you won’t need a rogers iPhone 4 to video call your friends that are not smart enough to switch to android.
