Google has finally updated their Android Distribution Numbers for this month. These numbers are updated by Google at roughly the start of every month for developers to look at so they can generalize what version of Android their potential install base is running and act upon it.
As of today June 7th, Android 6.0 Marshmallow has finally reached above 10% mark to sit at 10.1%. Android 5.1 Lollipop managed to see a 0.6% increase but this was offset by the 0.8% decrease from Android 5.0, making Lollipop as a whole drop to 35.4%.
Android 4.4 KitKat dropped by 0.9% to 31.6% and every other OS version also saw a decrease, except for Android 2.2 Froyo which still manages to hang on at 0.1%.
