Acer Liquid E Almost Here For Rogers

Back in February, Rogers announced intentions to launch the Acer Liquid E this Spring 2010. The Liquid E is going to be another Android-powered device hitting Rogers but the great feature is the new Acer device will be running Android 2.1!

Over the last month and a half Rogers has been rather quiet about the upcoming device but now URMagazine (a Rogers Wireless publication) has written up a story titled “Liquid Gold” regarding the Acer Liquid E and its impending launch.

It’s easy on the eyes, super powerful and is one of the first devices in Canada to run Android 2.1. The slick new Acer Liquid E is here, and it’s exclusive to Rogers (Coming Soon!)

The new device is the first Android-powered device from Acer in North America and as mentioned earlier, is also the first device to run on Rogers that will have Android 2.1 out of the box.

Check out some of the device tech specs:

  • Display: 3.5-inch high-definition touchscreen display
  • Messaging: Threaded SMS, IM, email, social networks
