Bell Launches 6PM Early Evenings Promo & Free Activation Fee
Like Rogers, Bell has now launched a 6PM early evenings calling promotion. Until March 31, 2010, Bell has launched a free 6PM early evening add-on for all new activations and maybe existing customers.
The 6PM early evenings calling bonus is available on the following 3-year term in-market plans:
- Voice Plans for phones
- Combo Plans for Smartphones
- Share Plans
- EPP plans
The promo is not being advertised in-store and is being used more as a “closing tool”, so be sure to ask your Bell representative during signup.
Existing Bell Customers
Since this promotion is more of a closing tool, the free 6PM add-on may not be available to existing customers. However, it is still recommended to call Bell and ask.
Existing customers will likely have to move to an in-market plan (dumping your current plan if it was not released in the last month or so) and renew their plan term for 3 years (does not affect hardware upgrade date). After the plan changes, the 6PM Early Evening Calling promo should be added manually for existing customers.
Also this month, Bell is waiving their $35 activation fee for all new consumer plan activations.
Edit: It has been confirmed that the 6PM add-on does not work for existing customers.
