Asus Unveils The New Asus Fonepad 7

We already knew ASUS was about to launch the new FonePad tablet. It seems ASUS, as many other companies, decided not to wait for the IFA show and so they went ahead and unveiled the new FonePad 7. The device, though similar to its predecessor, shows a small spec bump, as well as some new features.

The new ASUS FonePad will feature a 7-inch 1280×800 display, powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The device will also sport a 5MP rear-facing camera with an F2.4 lens. On the storage side you’ll get 8GB of internal storage and microSD card support of up to 64GB.

Noteworthy is the addition of dual-front speakers with Sonic Master technology that should put out excellent quality sound when you’re watching a movie or listening to your music library. We should hear more on this device tomorrow at IFA, so make sure you tune in for all your Android news. Don’t forget to leave your comments below.

1GB RAM is a bummer. Will buy if it comes with 2GB RAM.
