The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro was no secret but yesterday the powerhouse device was officially announced by the company. Here’s a refresher on what this beat of a phone packs:
- 5.7″ QHD Display
- 64-bit Snapdragon 810 Processor
- 4GB LPDDR4 RAM
- 64GB Internal Storage
- 13MP Camera with OIS
- 4MP Front Facing Camera
- 3090 mAh Battery with Quick Charge 2.0
Not only does this phone pack a punch internally, but it’s an incredibly stylish device externally. It features an alluminum frame sandwiched between 2.5D and 3D glass front and back. No one will be able to complain about any “cheap” materials here. Of course, one of the biggest selling points of Xiaomi’s products is the price and they were nice enough to announce that as well. The Mi Note Pro will go for RMB2999 which translates to roughly $483 USD or $584 CAD (man our dollar is brutal right now). While the company still hasn’t taken their products global, you can order the phone from various resellers on-line at a moderate mark up.
The phone looks amazing to me and I can’t wait for some of these Chinese companies to really break through globally. More competition often leads to more selection at better prices for us the consumer so I say bring it on!
