Telus Samsung Galaxy S II X Being Released October 28th

Great news for Telus users. If you have not already set your heart on the new Galaxy Nexus coming out in november, Telus is releasing their Galaxy S II X. There have been many rumours flying around that the launch date was going to be the 28th, but what really sealed the deal was Telus posting the banner for it.

Looks like who ever made the rumour was right on point.

Samsung Galaxy S II X specs:

  • 4.5? Super Amoled+ screen (800 x 480)
  • 1.5Ghz dual core processor
  • 1GB Ram
  • 8MP Camera
  • 2MP front Camera
  • Pre-loaded with Gingerbread 2.3.5
  • 1850 mAh battery
  • HSPA+ speeds up to 42Mbps

As you can see, this is the exact same as the Rogers release, just without the LTE capabilities. Is the lack of LTE a deal breaker for Telus customers? Sound off in the comments, do you really care if your GS2 has LTE?

    It’s got no LTE but it’s got 42Mbps HSPA+.

LTE?  I might care if there was more coverage, but since I couldn’t use it anyway why does it matter?

    Are you kidding?
42mbps is already too much on a smartphone. So i don’t care. 7mbps is sufficient.
