Telus HTC Desire HD pricing leaked

Other than the coming soon announcement, we’ve yet to hear anything official from Telus regarding the Desire HD price or launch date. But why wait for that? MobileSyrup has dug up pricing for the Desire HD and here’s what it looks like:

  • three-year contract: $149 (promotional)
  • two-year contract: $399
  • one-year contract: $449
  • no contract: $499

Considering the screen size and power on this phone, I’d say $149 is a fair price to pay on a three-year term with Telus. What do you think?

    good phone but outdated

sprint users have had it for almost a year.

telus should launch optimus 2x/infuse/thunderbolt to compete bell’s atrix
every time canadians have to wait for a long time (which forces us go down often to buy their no term phones)

Yeah, the EVO 4G has been available for quite some time. Not everyone is as obsessive with having the latest handset as most of us probably are though.

I would put my money on the Infuse for Telus since its confirmed coming to Canada. Optimus 2X might take some time, Thunderbolt is only CDMA for now.

        evo 4g is already cdma
inspire is what i meant (since its going to ATT i expect rogers to launch it sometime soon)
like all 3 carriers have their different version of evo 4g (like captivate/fascinate/vibrant)

You do know the Thunderbolt is just Verizon’s version of the Desire HD, Also the Evo 4G had the older 1 Ghz Snapdragon.

Nothing is worth 3 years! I would like to get this phone and was expecting the $499 price even though it was debunked earlier by Best Buy. Then there is the HTC event next week at MWC where we’ll see new phones too. Next month we get the Nexus S as well.

Looking forward to it. I know its not the Golden nugget of all smartphones but the large screen and the HTC sense look is whats making me watch for the release of it so i can rush out to claim one for my own. currently own an HTC desire (normal) and im loving it.
