Telus HTC Desire HD now available for purchase

How soon is soon you ask? Just under two weeks after Telus officially announced that the HTC Desire HD is headed to their network, here it is.

In case you’ve forgotten, you’re looking at a 4.3-inch display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8MP camera with a dual-LED flash and 720p video recording, 802.11n WiFi with GPS, HSPA+ data and Bluetooth. Ships with Android 2.2.

The pricing is no surprise to anyone either. The prices are the same as what was leaked just two days ago.

three-year contract: $149
two-year contract: $399
one-year contract: $449
no contract: $499

Definitely a winner for anyone wanting a large 4.3″ display. Another option for Telus customers interested in Android. Let us know if you’re buying one.

Sadly none of the telus stores nor bestbuy had any. they all said they are on order and will arrive tomorrow (friday feb 11) which i have my name down at 2 locations to ensure i get one ^_~ i cant wait lol

just a follow up. I got my hands on one and OMG the display is massive! lol love this phone so much ^_^!
heh though the specs dont show it, the phones operation is nearly twice as smooth as the normal desire

that’s awesome to hear! I’ve never had a phone with a display larger than the 3.7-inch Nexus One so I’m quite jealous right now.

For those of you in Vancouver, I just got back from the Tac Mobility store at 2748 Rupert St with my fabulous new Desire HD! Not sure how many they have but they seem to have a jump on other locations, so go soon!
