OnePlus has a pretty decent line up of devices right now with the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X and according to a recent benchmark that surfaced, another OnePlus could be in the works as well.
A mystery OnePlus device recently hit the GFXBench site and it packs some specs very reminiscent of the OnePlus 2. A Snapdragon 810 and Adreno 430 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM powers the mystery device that carries 64GB of internal storage. A 12MP camera and 4.8MP front facing camera takes care of the picture taking but the device oddly doesn’t support HDR photos. And like the OnePlus 2, this mystery device lacks NFC.
The key difference on the spec sheet, however, is the screen size. Whereas the OnePlus 2 packs a nice big 5.5″ display, this mystery OnePlus device packs only a 4.6″ screen. Given all the similarities to the OnePlus 2 with the exception of the smaller screen size, speculation is that this could be a OnePlus 2 Mini.
Of course, take this with a grain of salt as these benchmarks have been fooled and spoofed before. Nevertheless, the market for “mini” devices with flagship level specs is still pretty small so this could be a good target for OnePlus.
