The OnePlus X is without a doubt one of the best value phones on the market and although it’s only been available a couple of months now, a refresh may already be in the works. A new model recently surfaced on China’s TENAA with the model number E1000. Although everything looks to be the same, several publications are stating that the 2.0 GHz clocked processor is the Snapdragon 810, an upgrade over the Snapdragon 801 that OnePlus used on the original X.
There’s not definitive mention of the Snapdragon 810 in the TENAA listing so this is all speculation at this point. This new model could simply be aimed at a different region with different frequencies. We’ll keep an eye on this and let you know if we learn more.
