Good news friends! The Moto G (2015) will indeed be coming to Canada. The guys over on MobileSyrup received the above image which is allegedly a dummy phone sent to some store here in Canada to prepare for launch.
Not only does the image confirm the prospective Canadian launch but it also confirms some of the previous rumoured specs. As you can see, the device will be LTE capable and IPX7 certified. It’ll also feature a 13MP and 5MP camera, a microSD card slot, 2470 mAh battery, and a Quad-Core processor (rumour says it’s the Snapdragon 410).
One thing the dummy didn’t confirm is which model Canadians will get. According to current rumours, there will be two variants of this phone available. The lower end model will feature 1GB of RAM paired with 8GB of internal storage while the higher end model will sport double, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
July 28 isn’t too far away so I’m sure we’ll know everything we need to know soon enough.
