Another stylus equipped handset will soon be coming to Canada it appears. No, we’re not talking about the Note 5 (although that will land, just not in the immediate future). Rather it’s the LG G Stylo that seems poised to hit our market as it has made its way onto LG Canada’s website. Unlike the Note 5, the G Stylo is a mid-range device so it doesn’t pack the same punch as the Note series. Here’s a rundown of the specs:
- 5.7″ 720p IPS Display
- 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB Internal Storage
- microSD Card Slot
- 13MP Camera with Laser Auto Focus
- 5MP Front Facing Camera
- 3000 mAh Battery
While it’s definitely no flagship device, it has still got some pretty decent specs. The 3000 mAh battery should keep this guy trucking throughout the day and it’s nice to see LG pack one of their more unique features, the laser auto-focus, into a mid-range phone. Of course, the stylus is the key marketed feature on this device but unfortunately it appears to be a pretty run of the mill stylus unlike the active stylus found on the Note series. From what I can gather, it’s your typical capacitive stylus that is more or less going to mimic your finger.
