Looks like Microsoft is getting ready to finally deploy its own personal assistant (like Google Now, Siri or Hound) to other mobile platforms, and Android is one of them.
When Microsoft releases its newest Operating System to the public, it will be coming with Cortana enabled in select countries. However, the main Cortana app on Windows 10 will be accompanied with its own “companion” mobile app available either on Android or iOS. Whenever a reminder is set on one end, it syncs with other Cortana-enabled devices and displays the reminder accordingly.
The beta version of the app is coming as soon as next month. Windows 10 is expected to be released worldwide on July 29th so I’m sure the beta app on Android will be released before that.
