Life really is starting to look good for LG these days. They currently have two of the best phones one the market in the LG Optimus G and Nexus 4 and the rumour mills have them churning out something even more spectacular in 2013. Today some more exciting news is coming out of the LG camp.
It appears that LG is readying their own home made CPU’s for prime time. LG licensed A-9 and A-15 technology nearly two years ago and it seems that work has been going well as their first batch of CPU’s could be making their debut at CES 2013. Now according to the report, the chips will be making their way to Smart-TV’s before any other device. But if everything works out well, phones and tablets won’t be far behind.
Now the big question will be is how they stack up against some of the top chips in the market from Qualcomm, NVidea, and Samsung. While I’m personally a fan of the Exynos chip, I welcome the competition as competition pushes innovation into overdrive.
