The Huawei made Nexus 6P is without a doubt thee best Nexus device I have ever used, and possibly one of my favourite devices all time. The killer handset has also been receiving rave reviews around the web and it seems that the partnership between Google and Huawei may extend for at least another year.
According to a rumour that had surfaced over on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, Google and Huawei will partner together once again for one of next years Nexus devices. And what chip will be powering that device? The Snapdragon 820 of course. Word is that Google isn’t sold on Huawei’s home built Kirin so they’ll utilize the chip that we’ll likely see in the majority of 2016’s flagship devices.
It is pretty early for rumours of the Nexus 6P sequel to be surfacing so take this with a grain of salt. But I for one wouldn’t mind seeing this partnership run along for another generation.
