For Android enthusiasts and particularly Android purists, the Nexus devices are thee go to device each year. I have always kept at least one Nexus device on hand regardless of what other device(s) I’m rocking but the limited internal storage has always been a bit of a bother to me. While expandable storage would generally remedy the problem, Google has been pretty anti-SD cards for a while now which means that storage options have maxed out at 32GB for most with Nexus phones. Well according to a new rumour, things may be changing for least one of the two new Nexus phones.
According to the guys over on Android Police, the Huawei built Nexus 6P is expected to come in three storage options: 32GB, 64GB and 128GB! They go on to say that we should expect a $50-$100 jump between each storage option. Now with these three storage options, no one should have much to complain when it comes to internal storage. To me, 32GB should become the new minimum as apps are getting larger and larger and nobody wants to have to constantly clear apps to make room for more apps.
Again, this is just a rumour at this point but we only have a week left to wait before we’ll know everything there is to know about the new Nexus’.
