We’ve got a pretty sweet leak to pass your way. The not so retired leakster @evleaks is back again and he brought with him some details regarding the upcoming Huawei made Nexus device.
Huawei Nexus sounds impressive so far: 5.7″ QHD w/ metal body, SD820 SoC, fingerprint reader. Ships Q4.
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) July 15, 2015
According to Mr. Blass, the Huawei Nexus will sport a large 5.7″ QHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, a fingerprint reader and a metal body. Chances are that it’ll also come equipped with a USB Type-C port as Google hinted that that would be the standard on their upcoming devices. Mr. Blass also claims that this new Nexus will ship out in Q4 of this year.
Now there were rumours early on that Huawei would be producing the “cheaper” Nexus while LG would handle the flagship device but after seeing some rumoured specs for the LG made Nexus 5 (2015) and comparing it to these I’m wondering if maybe things aren’t the other way around. Hopefully we won’t have too much longer to wait before we know all we need to know!
