Get Ready for the Galaxy S II 4G!
I’m sure you have heard a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G, as it has to be this summer’s more sought after phone. ( LINK )
Like most of the greater phones released recently, it’s being released for Bell only currently and coming to Rogers later. Mobile syrup reported that the Toronto Eaton Center would be dishing a couple out a day early. Here is what they had to say:
Toronto Eaton Centre Bell Store (Level 2) will be selling them 1-day early on Wednesday July 20th. Apparently Bell will start unloading them at 5:00pm and go until 9:00pm, realistically they will probably sell out by 5:10pm. In addition, we’ve been informed that there will be a contest of some sorts where 5 of them up for grabs.
For once Canadians have the upper hand on this phone. Right now the Americans are doing backflips, due to the fact that they have not received theirs yet. It’s really nice to see Canada get a little bit first for a change. That being said, could this turn out to be an iPhone-like story where people are lined up to only be turned away due to limited supply?
Only time will tell. I know there has been a lot of buzz surrounding this phone, a lot of excited people I have talked to have resisted buying other phones in hopes to grab one of these babies.
