I have been steering clear of most of the new Nexus Prime rumours, as I’m not really huge on releasing unconfirmed information. I don’t want to be one of those blogs who reach for strings in order to get the best story.

It has come to my attention that some lucky individuals are receiving for following invitation:

This event was originally dated for Oct.11, but in respect for the unfortunate passing of Steve Jobs, they decided to reschedule.

I feel comfortable enough to post about this now, as it’s not just speculation at this point. They will introduce Ice Cream Sandwich OS, hence the picture in the invitation above,  as well as the next Nexus to join its side.  The event begins at 10:00 AM in Hong Kong. Tune your browser to youtube.com/android at 10PM EST on Oct 18th for the live broadcast.
