Xoom updates to 3.2, will get 4.0 ‘xoon’
Honeycomb, the soon to be forgotten OS as it melds with ICS and unifies the Android OS.
The Motorola Xoom (Tom, don’t you have one?) just updated it’s firmware to the latest Honeycomb version (3.2), something my eeePad has had for some time.
If you don’t have it yet, or the tablet isn’t telling you – just click the settings button in the corner, SETTINGS / ABOUT / CHECK FOR SYSTEM UPDATE, and it’ll come rolling in for you.
Now, that’s not the last the Xoom will see. Who knows how soon ICS will make it’s way onto the tablet? (I’m still betting my TF101 sees it first tho’).
Motorola has said that the Xoom will be its first device to get the ICS update.
