Google Translate just updated yesterday to allow for handwriting now.

Overall, this is just a great app (we were playing with it at the restaurant last night trying to translate the menu).

Now you can just write (if you don’t use Goggles) – great for symbols etc… in other languages, but you can even test out English characters (you’ll have to go into the settings to turn English handwriting on).
