Rogers is to launch two new North American (US/Canada) Data add-ons.
The new data add-ons allow customers to use the available data anywhere in Canada or the USA without incurring data roaming fees.
The new data add-ons start at $35/month and also have a Flex Plan beginning at $45/month. The new data add-ons do not replace the existing Rogers data add-ons, as both will still be available.

Canada is about to receive its seventh cellular carrier known as “Mobilicity”. Previously named “DAVE” wireless, the company is set to launch its AWS 3G services under a new brand name this Spring 2010.

LG Canada has posted on their Twitter page that they plan to push out Android 1.6 to all Rogers LG Eve owners this Spring 2010.

Here’s a treat for savvy Canadians that got their hands on the Google Nexus One. Today Google has announced an over-the-air software update to the Nexus One, which among other fixes and features, brings multitouch to the device.
When the Nexus One launched, rumor had it that Google excluded multitouch on the Nexus One because of their relationship with Apple. That seems to no longer be the case.
